We are currently recruiting Customer Advisors to join our growing Contact Centre team in Glasgow. You will represent well-known UK brands, supporting their customers with empathy, professionalism and care. Full training is provided.
About the role.
In this role, you will engage with customers who may be in arrears or experiencing financial challenges. Through thoughtful conversations and tailored support, you will help them regain control and move forward with confidence.
Starting salary of £27,976. Enhanced salary up to £31,252 based on achievement attainable quality measures focused on customer understanding and outcomes. After a year of service, your OTE potential will increase to £32,560 from £31,252.
Hybrid working available after successful completion of a six-month office-based probation period.
We are looking for individuals who genuinely care about helping others and can communicate with clarity and confidence.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Handling inbound and outbound calls and written communications with empathy and professionalism
- Working proactively to manage and reduce customer arrears
- Agreeing fair and affordable repayment arrangements in line with regulatory standards
- Identifying potential vulnerability or financial hardship and responding appropriately
- Accurately recording all customer interactions
You will ideally have:
- At least one year of call centre or customer service experience
- Strong listening skills and the ability to build rapport with people from all backgrounds
- Good computer literacy and experience using multiple systems simultaneously
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Confidence, resilience and a calm approach under pressure
- A clear DBS check, satisfactory credit check and employment references
Working hours
Shifts are available Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 8:00pm, and Saturday 9:00am to 1:00pm (one in three Saturdays).
Comprehensive classroom training will be provided (Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm for a minimum of four weeks)
