# The Role
As our **Property Valuer & Business Development Manager**, you'll be responsible for growing our residential sales portfolio by generating new business, carrying out market appraisals and converting valuations into instructions.
You'll work with both company-generated enquiries and opportunities you create through networking, referrals, prospecting and relationship building.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Carrying out accurate market appraisals and property valuations.
* Winning instructions and securing sole agency agreements.
* Prospecting for new business through networking, canvassing, referrals and relationship building.
* Building strong relationships with homeowners and prospective vendors.
* Following up leads and maximising every opportunity.
* Negotiating offers and supporting clients throughout the sales process.
* Working closely with the wider team to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
* Introducing clients to our trusted mortgage, conveyancing and other property partners.
* Representing the business at networking and community events.
* Helping grow our market share and local brand presence.
# What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who already has experience in estate agency and is ready to make an immediate impact.
Essential requirements:
* Previous experience as a Property Valuer, Lister, Negotiator or Business Development Manager within residential estate agency.
* A proven track record of winning new instructions and generating business.
* Strong knowledge of the local property market.
* Excellent communication, negotiation and closing skills.
* Confidence in carrying out property valuations independently.
* Self-motivated, organised and target-driven.
* Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
