Job Title: Inventory Counter
Salary: starting £28,900 and rising to £30,45 when role objectives are met
Contract: Full time & Fixed Term Contract – 12 Months
Location: Desford, Leicestershire
As an Inventory Counter, you will support the accuracy of inventory records across all product lines by completing stock counts and investigating discrepancies. Through careful analysis and confident use of inventory systems, you will help maintain strong controls, support audit checks, and contribute to successful delivery of year‑end inventory objectives.
As an Inventory Counter, you are accountable for, but not limited to:
Completing physical, cycle, test, and discrepancy count to ensure inventory records accurately reflect actual stock positions.

What You Can Demonstrate:
Attention to Detail: Work carefully and consistently when counting, checking, and recording stock, spotting errors early and correcting them promptly.
Enterprise Systems Awareness: Familiar with structured inventory and ERP systems (currently Glovia, with a planned transition to SAP), ensuring accurate recording of stock movements, supporting reconciliation activities, and maintaining reliable inventory data.
