This vacany is opened for 2 Experienced staff on a part time basis. We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our friendly team for a independent practice based in Smethwick.
The opportunities are as follows:
- 3 full days, totalling 20 hours per week minimum.
- 2 full days, totalling 13 hours minimum per week.
Job description (not limited to)
- Excellent customer service to include greeting patients and creating a warm welcoming environment.
- Answering phone calls in a professional manner and responding to queries.
-Scheduling patient appointments ensuring clinics are booked up.
- Being able to carry out basic frame adjustments and repairs.
- Carrying out contact lens teaches.
- Being able to work towards daily and monthly targets.
-Accurately taking patient information and maintaining neat records.
-Assissting in frame styling and being able to dispense to all groups of individuals confidently.
- Computer literate
- Dispensing knowledge, to advise patients on the best optical correction for their needs.
-Ensuring the optical practice is clean organised and tidy at all times.
-Leafleting to the general public ( when required or asked to do so).
- Being able to cope in a busy environment.
- Being able to fluently speak in Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi or Mirpuri.

Previous experience working in a optical practice is a MUST ( atleast 6 months).
