EU Signs Ltd is a growing sign manufacturing company based in Borehamwood. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Production Assistant to join our team.
This is a hands-on role within our production department. No previous sign-making experience is required as full training will be provided. We are looking for someone who enjoys practical work, has a positive attitude, and is willing to learn new skills.
The successful candidate will assist with the production of health and safety signs, vehicle graphics, printed materials, and other signage products.
A two-month probationary period will apply.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparing materials for production
- Cutting boards and sign materials to size
- Laminating printed graphics
- Applying and mounting vinyl graphics to various materials
- Assisting with the manufacture and assembly of signs
- Packaging completed products ready for dispatch
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality control
- Checking completed work before production and dispatch
- Recording production details and job progress
- Working efficiently to meet production deadlines
- Keeping the workshop clean, organised and safe
- Supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive team environment
- Following company procedures and health and safety requirements
What We Are Looking For:
- No previous experience required as full training will be provided
- Good practical and manual skills
- Physically fit and comfortable working on your feet
- Excellent timekeeping and punctuality
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good organisational skills
- Attention to detail and pride in your work
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and dependable work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines
- Working from home is NOT possible
Desirable but Not Essential:
- Experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, warehouse, workshop, construction or handyman roles.
- Experience using hand tools.
- Full UK driving licence.
