Due to ongoing company growth, Saw Doctors Forestry are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated HGV Class 2 Plant Driver with mechanical knowledge. The role will primarily be Class 2 driving work, delivering and installing plant, flow and pressure testing Hydraulic and Non Mechanical Attachments.

For this position, you will need to have a valid Class one license. You must have a clean license and have held your license for 2 years or more. Your CPC must also be up to date. You must have proven experience of being a truck driver, strong navigation skills, attention to detail and good time management.
You will be responsible for:
- Safely and efficiently operating a rigid HGV Plant Lorry.
- The delivery and collection of plant including loading and unloading plant/attachments.
- Fitting attachments to machinery and ensuring the correct parameters are met for the attachment/ machine.
- At-least basic maintenance of plant/attachments.
- Following all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Communicating with the relevant personnel about delivery/collection.
- Performing routine inspections and maintenance on the truck.
When no driving work is needed, you will be required to help in other departments.
