Position -
Dishwasher / General Cafe Assistant. Hours between 5/10 per week. To be discussed.
About Botanica -
We are a small, friendly, busy independent Coffee Bar and Eatery, situated on the lovely St Leonards Seafront within the iconic Marine Court building.
Our aim at Botanica is to create an attractive and relaxing environment for all our lovely customers. A place to meet up and socialise or to just idle away a little time.
We are known for our modern, delicious & interesting 'take' on Brunch & Lunch, for providing an array of premium hot and cold drinks, and for delivering excellent customer service - consistently.
We are sadly loosing team members to Uni and are now looking for a new addition(s) to join our team.
Brief overview of role -
The kitchen -
- To use a commercial dishwasher, ensuring all crockery, cafe utensils etc pass through the dishwasher in an efficient and timely manner.
- Help maintain general cleanliness & organisation in the kitchen.
- To be adaptable and juggle several tasks at once in a calm manner.
- Help deliver food and drinks, help clear and clean front of house tables etc
The shopfloor -
- To serve and take orders at the cash desk in a calm and organised manner.
- To be adaptable, to the ever changing pace of a cafe.
- To be able to work well in a small team and with confidence, interact with our lovely customers in a genuine, friendly and professional manner.
As a person -
- To have a good work ethic, conscientious, fun, very reliable and punctual.
- Have a positive attitude and care about doing a good job.
- Like being part of a busy team.
- To be reasonably robust person.
- To have some hospitality experience or quick and keen to learn.
