Salary: Paid to Scale – £170 - £223 per day (dependent on experience)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Didsbury from September 2026. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity, continuing until the end of the academic year, with pay offered in line with the Main Pay Scale (MPS), equivalent to £170 - £223 per day, depending on experience.

The Role
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
- Uphold the school's values and contribute positively to the wider school community.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (ECTs are welcome to apply).
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills.
- Is passionate about inspiring young learners.
- Has strong communication and organisational skills.
- Can commit to a full-time role until the end of the academic year.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Relevant teaching references.
