About the Role
Cookstown Caravans & Motorhomes is one of Ireland’s leading caravan and motorhome dealerships, offering an extensive range of accessories, awnings, outdoor leisure products and parts through our busy leisure shop.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, organised and customer-focused shop assistant to take ownership of our retail shop, ensuring an exceptional customer experience while driving sales and maintaining high retail standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the leisure shop.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to every customer.
- Provide expert advice on caravan, motorhome and camping accessories.
- Maintain attractive product displays and merchandising throughout the shop.
- Monitor stock levels and place orders with suppliers.
- Receive deliveries and accurately book stock into the system.
- Manage pricing, promotions and seasonal product displays.
- Ensure the shop remains clean, organised and well presented at all times.
- Work closely with the workshop and sales departments to fulfil customer requirements.
- Handle customer enquiries both in-store and over the phone.
- Assist with stock takes and inventory management.

- Good computer skills and confidence using stock management systems.

Desirable Experience
- Experience in stock control, purchasing and supplier management.
- Strong merchandising skills with an eye for product presentation.
- Experience working towards sales targets and improving store performance.
- Confidence using EPOS, stock management or retail systems.

Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 9:00am – 5:30pm
- Saturday: 10:00am – 1:00pm
Pay: £13.50 per hour
