The Role
We are looking for an experienced and committed Support Worker to join our growing team. You will be supporting individuals in supported accommodation, including children under 18 and young people with complex needs.
This is a dynamic role that involves both independent and team-based working across Peterborough and Wisbech services.
You will also be part of an on-call rota, providing out-of-hours support when required.
This role offers a genuine career progression opportunity into a Registered Manager pathway, with training and development provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to young people and vulnerable individuals in supported accommodation
- Work with children under 18 and clients with complex needs
- Promote independence, safety, and wellbeing at all times
- Complete support plans, case notes, and risk assessments accurately
- Work collaboratively with external agencies, social workers, and professionals
- Respond to incidents and safeguarding concerns appropriately
- Participate in an on-call rota (out-of-hours support)
- Support tenancy sustainment and daily living skills development
- Travel between Peterborough and Wisbech services as required
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in supported accommodation or residential support work
- Confident working with children/young people under 18 and complex needs
- Based in or able to travel across Peterborough and Wisbech
- Flexible and willing to participate in an on-call rota
- Calm, resilient, and able to manage challenging situations
- Strong communicator and team player
- Passionate about making a positive difference
