Responsibilities
- Responsible to Group HSE Manager
- Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive HSE policies aligned with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across all operational sites to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Lead incident investigations by performing root cause analysis to determine underlying issues and prevent recurrence.
- Coordinate emergency response procedures, including first aid protocols, ensuring readiness for any incident or accident.
- Prepare detailed reports on safety performance, incidents, and compliance status to inform management decisions.
- Deliver training sessions on safety procedures, proper reporting techniques, and emergency response protocols to staff at all levels.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness through ongoing communication, engagement initiatives, and leadership by example.
Experience
- Proven experience in health, safety, or environmental management within a fast-paced operational environment, preferably with Clients such as NG, SGN, WWU or Cadent
- Strong knowledge of local health and safety regulations, environmental laws, and industry standards such as ISO 45001.
- Demonstrated ability to perform report writing with clarity and precision for incident documentation and compliance records.
- Skilled in conducting root cause analysis to identify systemic issues behind safety incidents or hazards.
- First aid certification is highly desirable to support immediate response efforts during emergencies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to train teams effectively and foster a safety-conscious workplace culture.
