About the Role
Global Service Group Limited (GSG) is looking for reliable, professional and customer-focused Delivery Drivers to join our team delivering Freddie’s Flowers from our Hampton, Surrey operation.
You’ll play an important role in ensuring customers receive their flower deliveries safely, accurately and on time. This is a hands-on driving role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, has excellent time-management skills and enjoys working independently while being part of a wider team.
Immediate starts are available.
What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering Freddie’s Flowers and ad hoc packages safely and on time to customer addresses.
- Following allocated routes and completing deliveries within agreed timescales.
- Providing a friendly and professional service to customers and members of the public.
- Completing delivery records, documentation and electronic logs accurately.
- Reporting missing, damaged or incorrect items.
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety and condition checks.
- Reporting vehicle defects, accidents, incidents and safety concerns promptly.
- Ensuring the delivery vehicle is kept clean and presentable.
- Driving safely, legally and responsibly at all times.
- Following all company, transport, health & safety and confidentiality/GDPR requirements.
- Wearing company-issued uniform while representing GSG and Freddie’s Flowers.
- Working flexibly to accommodate changing routes and operational requirements.
- Supporting the operation with sickness and holiday cover when required.
Working Hours
Start time: 04:30
You will work a 9-hour shift with an unpaid lunch break.
The early start is an essential part of the role, so applicants must be comfortable and reliable working from 04:30.
What We're Looking For
You will need:
- A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
- No previous driving disqualifications.
- At least 3 years' driving experience.
- Previous courier or delivery-driving experience is preferred.
- A willingness to complete a basic DBS check.
- Excellent punctuality and time-management skills.
- The ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
- A reliable, motivated and professional approach.
- The ability to adapt to changing routes and operational requirements.
- A strong focus on customer service and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently as well as positively within a team.
- A smart and professional appearance.
- Pride in maintaining both yourself and the vehicle to a high standard.
