Location: Worthing
Salary: £25,000–£35,000 per annum
Rota: Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:00 (overtime likely)
We are looking for a motivated Technical Support Engineer to join our growing team in Worthing, supporting CCTV, networking and security systems across a range of client environments. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically skilled individual who enjoys troubleshooting, problem-solving, and working with modern surveillance and communication systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor CCTV systems and system health dashboards to ensure continuous uptime
- Diagnose and resolve faults in CCTV, networking, hardware and electrical systems
- Provide remote technical support for cameras, DVRs/NVRs and associated software
- Configure IP cameras, recording systems and network devices
- Analyse system logs and identify recurring faults
- Support installation engineers via phone and email
- Assist with system upgrades, maintenance and troubleshooting
- Maintain accurate documentation of issues and resolutions
Requirements
- Experience with CCTV systems, networking or technical support
- Good understanding of IP networking and hardware troubleshooting
- Experience configuring IP cameras and recording systems preferred
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics is advantageous
- Experience with IDS or other security systems is desirable
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a team
