This role is about more than driving. You'll be the friendly face of James Burrell, representing the company professionally at customer sites and providing the helpful, reliable service that keeps our customers coming back.
LGV Category C Driver (Previously known as HGV Class 2)
Location: Ossett, WF5 9JE
THE ROLE: You will be required to ensure that materials are delivered promptly and accurately to our customer locations. You will assist in unloading the vehicle at the delivery location with the remotely operated HIAB crane and providing an excellent customer service.
CANDIDATE: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking person, who has a Class 2 licence and has good knowledge of Ossett and the surrounding areas. Having a good product knowledge on a range of building materials would be an advantage to this position.
QUALIFICATIONS: To be considered for this role, you'll need a valid LGV Category C licence (formerly HGV Class 2), a Driver CPC qualification and a digital tachograph card. Don't have a HIAB licence yet? No problem – we'll fully fund your HIAB training, giving you the opportunity to gain this valuable qualification as part of your career with us.
