We have an exciting opportunity to join our friendly and supportive team at Horsforth Dental, following the relocation of one of our valued Dental Nurses.
We are looking for a caring, motivated and professional Dental Nurse with a friendly and approachable manner. The ideal candidate will have a passion for dentistry, be confident interacting with patients, and demonstrate excellent communication skills.
About Us:
We are a mixed NHS and private dental practice based in Horsforth, offering a wide range of treatments from restorative dentistry, to Invisalign, and implants. We are a family business and pride ourselves on delivering a high standard of patient care in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Job role:
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring our patients receive an excellent experience. Duties will include:
- Welcoming and supporting patients both face-to-face and over the phone
- Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatments
- Providing chairside support
- Decontamination and sterilisation of instruments
- Ensuring surgeries are fully prepared and stocked
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Supporting the team with the smooth running of the practice
- Occasional reception duties
About you:
We are looking for:
- A GDC registered Dental Nurse
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A caring, professional, and patient-focused approach
- The abbility to work well as part of a team
- Good IT skills (Exact experience desirable but not essential)
Working hours
This was originally advertised as a full-time position but we are also looking at the possibility of recruiting 2 x part-time staff to cover the following days:
- Monday - 08:15 - 18:15
- Tuesday - 08:15 - 17:45
- Wednesday - 08:15 - 17:45
- Thursday- 08:45 - 17:45
- Friday - 08:45 - 16:15
