About iPlace Global
iPlace Global is the UK’s home moving hub. We help people compare trusted conveyancers, surveyors and removal companies in one place. Through our portfolio of comparison websites, we generate high-quality customer enquiries for our partners while helping consumers make confident home-moving decisions.
As we continue to grow, we’re bringing more paid search capability in-house to sit alongside our existing PPC Manager and to replace third party agency support. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of PPC at iPlace Global and have a genuine impact on business growth.
About the role
This is a hands-on PPC role sitting within our Digital Marketing team. You’ll take ownership of our Google Ads and Microsoft Ads accounts, managing multi-million-pound budgets across several consumer brands in the home-moving sector.
Initially, you’ll work alongside our incumbent agency during a structured transition period before taking full ownership of the accounts. You’ll be responsible for optimising performance, identifying growth opportunities and building a modern, data-driven paid search function that delivers high-quality leads and commercial growth.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining strategic thinking with hands-on campaign management and wants the opportunity to build something from the ground up.
What you’ll do
- Manage and optimise Google Ads and Microsoft Ads accounts across multiple brands.
- Monitor campaign performance daily, identifying opportunities to improve lead volume, conversion rate and return on investment.
- Develop and implement bidding strategies across Search, Performance Max and other campaign types.
- Conduct ongoing keyword research, search query analysis and negative keyword management.
- Write and test compelling ad copy to improve click-through and conversion rates.
- Analyse campaign performance using Google Ads, Google Analytics 4 and other reporting tools.
- Build dashboards and performance reports that communicate results clearly to stakeholders.
- Work closely with internal teams to improve landing page performance and conversion rates.
- Collaborate with SEO, Product and Data teams to maximise overall marketing performance.
- Identify new growth opportunities across paid search and emerging Google Ads features.
- Manage budgets carefully to achieve commercial targets while maintaining efficiency.
- Stay up to date with industry developments and Google’s evolving best practices.
What we’re looking for
- 3–5 years’ hands-on PPC experience, either in-house or agency side, preferably in lead generation
- Strong experience managing Google Ads campaigns with significant monthly budgets.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Ads.
- Experience with Performance Max, Smart Bidding and modern Google Ads best practices.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and turn insights into actions.
- Experience using Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager and Looker Studio or similar reporting tools.
- Excellent Excel or Google Sheets skills.
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of campaign performance.
- Commercial mindset with a focus on lead generation and return on investment.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work with stakeholders across the business.
Nice to have
- Experience within lead generation, comparison websites or digital marketplaces.
- Knowledge of the UK property, financial services or home-moving sectors.
- Experience with offline conversion tracking and CRM integrations.
- Familiarity with scripts, automation and AI tools that improve campaign performance.
What we offer
- Competitive salary.
- The opportunity to build and shape iPlace Global’s in-house PPC capability.
- Ownership of high-value digital marketing budgets.
- A collaborative team where your ideas and expertise will directly influence business performance.
- Central London office (5 days per week in office).
