- Assist with daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
- Support individuals in participating in community activities and social outings
- Promote independence by encouraging skills development and confidence-building
- Maintain accurate records of support provided and progress made
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals to ensure consistent care
- Uphold health and safety standards at all times, adhering to organisational policies
Qualifications
- Experience with children or vulnerable adults is highly desirable
- Compassionate nature with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work flexibly, including some weekend or evening shifts if required
- Reliable, organised, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Basic understanding of safeguarding procedures and health & safety regulations
