About the Role
Asil Oto Market is looking for a Digital Merchandising Specialist to support the growth of our online store from our Ocean Park location in Cardiff. The successful candidate will be responsible for digital product presentation, category optimisation, and improving the overall online shopping experience.
This role combines analytical skills, strong visual awareness, and knowledge of e-commerce platforms. You will work closely with the marketing, sales, and inventory teams to ensure products are accurately listed, effectively positioned, and properly promoted across our digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the organisation and presentation of products across the e-commerce website.
- Create and update product categories, collections, filters, and promotional pages.
- Ensure product prices, images, descriptions, and availability are accurate.
- Analyse online sales, conversion rates, and customer browsing behaviour.
- Identify high-performing products and items requiring additional visibility.
- Support seasonal campaigns, promotional activities, and new product launches.
- Coordinate with the inventory team to prevent stock availability issues.
- Improve website search functionality and product navigation.
- Support cross-selling and upselling initiatives.
- Prepare regular reports on product and category performance.
- Monitor competitor activity and relevant market trends.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on newsletters, landing pages, and digital campaigns.
What We Are Looking For
- At least 2–3 years of experience in digital merchandising, e-commerce, or online catalogue management.
- Experience using Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or a similar e-commerce platform.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Ability to analyse commercial data and e-commerce performance metrics.
- Experience managing product information, images, and descriptions.
- Basic understanding of SEO for product and category pages.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
- Good written and spoken English.
- A diploma or degree in marketing, business, digital communications, or a related field is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Google Analytics 4 and e-commerce reporting tools.
- Knowledge of product information management systems.
- Experience in automotive retail, vehicle parts, or general retail.
- Basic graphic editing skills.
- Understanding of conversion rate optimisation.
- Experience supporting multichannel promotional campaigns.

Pay: £2,500.00-£2,700.00 per month
