Barnstead Fire Sprinklers – On-site Technician

Barnstead Fire Sprinklers has been the leading Fire Sprinkler business in Pembrokeshire since 2017. With our customers now branching out to Cardiganshire, Carmarthenshire and even as far as Cardiff, we have an exciting opportunity for an On-Site Technician to join our team. This position is well-suited to a candidate who has basic plumbing, pipe fitting skills and who is looking to begin a career in an exciting new path of Fire Sprinklers.
This position is based in the Haverfordwest area and you will need a full clean driving license in order to apply as you will be responsible for the company vehicle when travelling to and from site. You will be working alongside other On-Site Technicians for Barnstead Fire Sprinklers however, this role will involve sometimes working on-site on you own so a candidate who is self-motivated is essential.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Ability to work off CAD Plans to install a full fire sprinkler system and be able to maneuver through tight spaces.
· Installing a pump and tank system to feed the sprinkler system if needed.
· Pressure Testing and recording the data.
· Commissioning sites and recording the data.
Requirements:
· A willingness to learn the role to its entirety as full training will be given to the right candidate.
· Good communication skills are a must so you can effectively communicate with customers and the office to advise of progression and any issues that may arise.
