An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the Health and Social Care team as part of the Childcare and Education, Health Sciences, Health and Social Care and Sports (CHHS) Department. As part of this team, you will be responsible for our level 3/5 part time programmes of study in health. This is an opportunity to positively manage and influence our adult student lives, widening their choice to progress into meaningful work or further learning.
As Programme Lead, you will work closely with the Programme Area Manager to ensure high quality provision for students. You will have a track record of delivering high quality teaching and learning. It is also desirable that you have some experience of leading course provision and coordinating quality processes with the ability to appraise courses using a range of quality and performance indicators. Within the role you will be responsible for ensuring students are on the right programme, monitoring their progression, monitoring attendance, and updating the college systems. A good level of planning skills and prioritising tasks is advantageous in this role.
You will teach and manage on our HTQ Programme in Health
You will have the following:

A relevant Degree or equivalent level 4/5 HNC/D qualification as a minimum requirement in Nursing
- Level 2 in Maths and English (GCSE Grade C or above, GCSE Level 4 or above, or equivalent).
- Teacher qualified Level 5 or above e.g. Diploma in Education and Training, Cert Ed, PGCE or equivalent.
