An opportunity has arisen for a motivated Administrative Assistant to join the Medicines Management Team at Powys Teaching Health Board. This role offers an opportunity to develop NHS administrative experience within a supportive and collaborative team environment.
You will be surrounded by experienced Medicines Management Team colleagues with the PA to the Chief Pharmacist providing line management and professional support. You will be a highly valued member of the team, and we will provide appropriate development and training opportunities.
The post offers a permanent part time role. There is flexibility available regarding how many days these hours are worked over.
To provide routine clerical and administrative support to the Medicines Management Team, assisting in the effective day-to-day running of the office and supporting the delivery of the service across Powys Teaching Health Board.
The post holder will undertake a range of administrative duties including organising meetings, maintaining records and filing systems, preparing documents and correspondence, and responding to routine enquiries from staff and external organisations. The role will support the Personal Assistant to the Chief Pharmacist and wider Medicines Management Team to ensure administrative processes operate efficiently and information is recorded and communicated accurately.
The post holder will work within established procedures and guidance, prioritising their own workload and escalating issues to the Personal Assistant or relevant manager where required. The role requires good organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across the Health Board and partner organisations.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
