About you and the role:
· You will take pride in your work, working to the highest standards keeping health and safety your main priority.
· You will be working in a fast-paced environment ensuring all goods are picked and packed correctly.
· You will follow the consolidation process and ensure all goods are consolidated to the correct pallets.
· You will take ownership of putaways and replenishing stock.
· You will unload containers checking the quality of stock before scanning into current stock.
· You will load our company wagons in a methodical order, ensuring out fleet drivers can deliver to our customers as easily and efficiently as possible.
· This role is very manual and handballing plays a huge part in it, manual handing training is given and you must be responsible in ensuring you follow this training while carrying out your tasks.
· You will ensure the site is clean and tidy and operating to a high standard.
· A flexible approach to work is essential as you may be required to cover other operational tasks.
· Communicate confidently and effectively within the team and wider business.
· You will have a positive, collaborative, and committed approach to work.
Your Skills:
· Counterbalance and reach truck licences are ideal but not essential.
· Good level of numeracy and literacy skills.
· Can follow instructions efficiently.
· Excellent attention to detail.
· Can work at speed.
· Can lift heavy items, MHE available when required.
· Team player.
