We are looking for a reliable and organised Part-Time Administrator to join our team in Chelmsford. This is a varied administrative role, working 20 hours per week across 5 days, providing essential support across Finance, HR and general administration. You’ll help keep our day-to-day processes running smoothly, from handling financial records and reconciliations to supporting HR administration and maintaining accurate documentation. Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Completing daily cash reconciliations and week-ending reconciliations
- Preparing and processing banking
- Processing delivery notes and ensuring records are accurate and up to date
- Arranging and processing credits where required
- Processing receipts and petty cash
- Allocating and keeping records of staff uniforms
- Maintaining accurate records and tracking employee sickness and absence
- Processing new starter paperwork and ensuring all relevant documentation is completed
- Providing general administrative support to the wider team as required
Key Skills and Competencies:
Previous administration experience- Experience handling cash, banking or reconciliations
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience using HR or payroll systems
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
- Experience processing invoices, credits or delivery documentation
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Experience maintaining confidential employee records
- Good communication skills and a friendly, professional manner
- Experience working in a retail or customer-focused environment
