Salon Cleaner/Housekeeper
Position Overview
The Salon Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment throughout the salon. This role ensures that all client areas, bathroom and staff spaces always remain hygienic and presentable. The Salon Housekeeper supports the daily operations of the salon by upholding cleanliness standards and assisting the team with general upkeep.
Key Responsibilities
- General Cleaning: Sweep, mop and disinfect all floors and high-traffic areas.
- Sanitation: Clean and sanitize stations, chairs, sinks, shampoo bowls as needed.
- Bathroom Maintenance: Clean and restock supplies in bathroom regularly.
- Waste Management: Empty trash bins, replace liners, and properly dispose of waste according to salon policies.
- Product & Supply Organization: Keep storage areas tidy and assist with restocking cleaning and salon supplies.
- Client Area Presentation: Ensure reception area, waiting area, and retail displays remain neat and tidy.
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Schedule & Work Environment
- May include evenings and weekends based on salon hours
- Collaborative environment with stylists and front-desk staff
Pay: £8.00-£12.71 per hour
Work Location: In person
