Soi Dog Foundation are looking to recruit a Sunday Supervisor for their charity shop in Duston, Northampton. As a Sunday Supervisor you will work alongside the Shop Manager and Assistant Shop Manager to deliver sales targets to generate income for the charity. This is a part-time position of 5 hours a week on Sundays, plus additional hours Mon-Sat when required to cover sickness and annual leave. Please do not apply if you cannot fulfil this requirement.

Key Responsibilities:
· Maximise sales and Gift Aid within the shop
· Ensure a high standard of customer service
· Train and supervise volunteers
· Accept donations from donors
· Promote the work of Soi Dog and keep up to date with the charities work
· Replenish the shop floor with stock
· Create visual merchandising displays
· Ensure health and safety practices are adhered to
· Key holder
· Preparing stock for sale
- Understand and follow instructions given on handover notes
· Cashing up, till reports and banking
Skills and Qualifications:
Previous management experience or charity retail experience is desirable, however all training will be provided. The successful candidate must be passionate about delivering the highest level of shop standards and exceeding customer expectations through providing excellent customer service. They must also have great communication skills with a strong customer focus. It will be a requirement at times to work alone so they must be responsible and capable. The role is very physical with a need to be able to handle large donations so a good level of fitness is required. The candidate must also be organized and good at managing donated stock to ensure a safe working environment for all.
