Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded Warranty & Compliance Manager to oversee all warranty-related activity across TMG. This role is responsible for managing warranty claims, assessing whether vehicles fall under warranty or require internal resolution, and developing a structured sales process to significantly grow the company’s warranty pot.
The ideal candidate will also lead staff training, manage after sales customer communication, support upselling of warranty products, and build strong processes for handling finance company queries and post-sale issues.
Duties
- Aftersales ,Warranty & Claims Management
- manage all warranty claims across the business and assess whether issues fall under warranty or should be handled internally
- Monitor claim rates and maintain performance within agreed targets.
- Create, implement, and maintain structured processes for handling claims from start to finish.
- Build and grow the warranty pot by developing an effective internal upselling strategy
- Work with staff to encourage warranty policy sales to every customer purchasing a vehicle.
- Train staff on how to confidently present and sell warranties, including performance vehicle uplift rates.
- Analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improved performance.
- Train staff on handling return customers, ensuring clear distinction between general returns and warranty cases (after 30 days).
- Ensure a consistent, professional, and timely response to all aftersales queries.
Skills
- Proven management experience with a minimum of 2 years working with consumer rights act
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analysis skills to interpret data, assess team performance, and develop improvement plans.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Organisational skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently whilst maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to supervise staff effectively

Pay: £26,782.00-£39,119.63 per year
