Job Summary
We run a very busy cafe near to Bilston and we are always seeking experienced cafe cooks to carry out the duties below.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a range of food items according to specified recipes and standards
- Cook food on a griddle (e.g. bacon)
- Cook food in fryers (e.g. hash browns)
- Prepare orders to a good standard
- Maintain a hygenic work area
- Clean and tidy as required
- Take orders face to face, over the phone and liaise with delivery partners
- Move and rotate stock
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a café or restaurant setting
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail
Shifts are typically 5 or 6 hours long. If you message us with your experience and how many hours per week you require, we can try to accommodate. Interviews are a short trial shift so, if you can't cook and/or have no cafe experience, you're wasting your time!
Pay: £12.71 per hour
