Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Senior Care Worker to join our compassionate care team. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in a care home setting, promoting independence, dignity, and well-being. Hours – Monday to Friday 08:30 – 16:30 (30-minute unpaid lunch break). On-call duties will cover seven days (Monday to Sunday inclusive) on a roster basis as directed by the Registered Manager, flexibility to cover care calls is a must over a seven-day period while on call.
Responsibilities
The duties set out below will be carried out under the supervision and guidance of the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager.
To assist in the active development, promotion, and administration of the business in order to provide safe and effective care to those using the service provided by Community Careline Services (Medway) Ltd – in accordance with policy and procedure set out by the company as dictated by current law and legislation.
Job Role
The details of the job role set out below is expected but is not limited to as other duties may be requested by the Registered Manager on an as and when needed basis.
- Supporting the care workers in the community
- Supervising care workers in the community
- Identifying training needs of the care workers in the community
- Spot checking care workers in the community
- Provide training to new members of staff in the community
- To take part in the emergency out of hours on-call roster as directed by the Registered Manager.
- Actively provide hands on care when needed.
- Attend meetings as and when required.
- Ensure all training is kept up to date
- Recruit new care workers and manage the recruitment process from start to end.
- Any other duties as requested by the Registered Manager to aid the needs of the business.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Business car insurance
- Qualified to Level 3 in Health and Social Care
- Willing to undertake further qualifications

Pay: £14.48-£48.49 per hour
