Our client, a leading repair centre in the mobile phone/gadget repair industry, are currently seeking a full-time & permanent 'Electronics Technician' to work within brand new repair facility. The Company's core business is the repair & refurbishment of mobile phones, laptops, games consoles and other electronic gadgets.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the repair of mobile phones and gadgets. However, we will consider applications from those with a keen interest in electronics and a demonstrable aptitude for repair. Adequate soldering skills are essential and there will be a bench test at interview.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment, including mobile phones, tablets, laptops and games consoles
- Perform hardware and software installations and upgrades
- Utilize hand tools and testing equipment to diagnose and repair electronic components
- Collaborate with team members to develop solutions for complex technical problems
Experience:
- Proven experience (or a keen interest) in electronic repair
- Strong knowledge of electronic equipment repair techniques
- Proficiency in using hand tools (inc. soldering)
- Solid understanding of computer hardware components and their functions
- Ability to maintain accurate records of repairs performed

The hours for this role 8am-5pm (or 9am-6pm) Monday to Friday with a 30 min lunch break and 2 x 15 min tea breaks. We offer a competitive compensation package which includes the opportunity to earn commission through the successful repair of devices (up to £50k pa OTE). Overtime is also often available.
