About The Role:
Synergize delivers responsive maintenance and project works across Ministry of Defence (MOD) housing estates throughout London, Kent, and the Home Counties. Maintaining high service standards across our contracts is a key priority, and we are looking for an experienced Scheduler to support the successful delivery of our MOD housing maintenance operations.
Working closely with operational teams, subcontractors, residents, and clients, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating responsive maintenance activities, ensuring works are scheduled efficiently and completed within agreed timescales and service level requirements.
This role is key to ensuring our teams are effectively deployed, customers receive excellent service, and contractual commitments are consistently achieved.
Hours of work: 40 hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduling and coordinating responsive maintenance works across MOD housing properties
- Allocating jobs to engineers, operatives, and subcontractors based on availability, location, skills, and priority
- Monitoring work orders from initial instruction through to completion
- Ensuring jobs are delivered within agreed service level agreements (SLAs)
- Liaising with residents, clients, and operational teams to provide updates and resolve scheduling issues
- Managing changes to appointments and responding to urgent works requirements
- Maintaining accurate records across internal systems, ensuring all job information is up to date
- Monitoring outstanding works and proactively identifying any delays or issues
- Supporting contract reporting requirements, including performance updates and completion data
- Working collaboratively with supervisors, contract managers, and operational colleagues to improve service delivery
About You:
- Previous experience working as a Scheduler, Planner, Coordinator, or similar role within maintenance, repairs, construction, or facilities management
- Experience scheduling engineers, trades teams, or subcontractors within a reactive maintenance environment
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with customers, clients, and operational teams
- Comfortable working with IT systems, including scheduling platforms and Microsoft Office packages
- A proactive approach with strong attention to detail
- Experience working within social housing, MOD housing, facilities management, or similar maintenance contracts is advantageous
