Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance (dependent on experience)

The Opportunity:
Long Term Futures are seeking a passionate and dedicated RE Teacher with SEN experience to join a specialist school in the Camden area from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity to teach Religious Education across KS3 and KS4, while supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASD), SEMH, ADHD, and communication difficulties.
The provision is committed to delivering a personalised and inclusive curriculum that enables every pupil to achieve both academically and socially. The successful candidate will be passionate about supporting vulnerable learners and confident in adapting lessons to meet a wide range of needs.
Your Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated RE lessons across KS3 & KS4
- Adapt learning materials to support pupils with SEN and complex needs
- Promote inclusion, respect, and critical thinking through the RE curriculum
- Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress effectively
- Support EHCP targets and personalised learning outcomes
- Create a positive, safe, and structured classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with SENCOs, therapists, support staff, and families
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Essential
- Experience teaching RE or Humanities in a UK secondary setting
- Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN, particularly ASD and SEMH
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to differentiate lessons to meet a range of learning needs
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
