Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CPCS 360 Machine Driver to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will operate heavy machinery, specifically the 360-degree excavator, to support various construction and excavation projects. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, commercial driving experience, and adherence to safety standards. The ideal applicant will be reliable, safety-conscious, and capable of working efficiently in a dynamic environment.
Duties
- Operate the CPCS 360 excavator safely and efficiently in accordance with project specifications.
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery to ensure optimal functioning and identify any maintenance needs.
- Assist with site preparation, loading, unloading, and movement of materials using the excavator.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a secure working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure timely project completion.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as lubricating parts and cleaning equipment to ensure longevity and performance.
- Maintain accurate records of machine usage and report any issues or damages promptly.
Experience
- Proven experience operating CPCS 360 excavators on commercial construction sites.
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy machinery operation and maintenance.
- Valid CPCS certification for 360 machine operation is essential.
- Experience with commercial driving, including the operation of lorries or similar vehicles, is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations relevant to construction sites.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and safety protocols.
