We are currently recruiting for an experienced Diagnostic Technician to join our client's busy dealership in Taunton.

Diagnostic Technician – Key Responsibilities
- Carry out complex diagnostic investigations and repairs across a range of vehicles.
- Diagnose electrical, electronic and mechanical faults using manufacturer diagnostic equipment.
- Complete vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs to a high standard.
- Identify faults efficiently and provide accurate technical solutions.
- Carry out vehicle health checks and ensure all work is completed in line with manufacturer standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all diagnostic work and repairs undertaken.
- Work closely with the Service Department to ensure vehicles are repaired efficiently and within agreed timescales.
- Maintain a clean, safe and professional working environment.
Key Requirements
- Previous experience as a Diagnostic Technician within a franchised dealership or independent automotive environment.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Qualified to NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds / IMI Level 3 or equivalent.
- Experience with manufacturer diagnostic equipment and technical information systems.
- A strong understanding of modern vehicle electrical and electronic systems.
- Full UK driving licence.
- A professional approach with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a busy team.
