Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Practitioner Level 3 to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Supervise children at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being within the nursery environment
- Support children's emotional, social, and behavioural development through positive interactions and guidance
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, behaviour, and daily activities
- Collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive, welcoming atmosphere that encourages children's curiosity and independence
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding children's progress, needs, and any concerns
- Assist with the organisation of nursery routines such as meal times, nap times, and outdoor play
- Uphold health and safety standards in accordance with regulatory requirements and nursery policies
- Contribute to the organisation of outings or trips by organising transportation and ensuring children's safety during travel
Requirements
- Relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Childhood Education recognised within the UK
- Proven experience working within a nursery or early years setting
- Strong management and leadership skills to support team collaboration and effective supervision of children
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Passionate about working with children and committed to their development
- Knowledge of child safeguarding procedures and health & safety regulations
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while demonstrating initiative when required
- Valid driving licence is desirable for transporting children or attending external activities
- Ability to organise tasks efficiently whilst maintaining a nurturing environment for children
Pay: £24,420.00-£30,000.00 per year
