On behalf of our client, we are looking for a hardworking and caring individual to support the live-in carer with their daily break. This role would suit someone looking for part-time flexible work around their family life or other commitments.
Role Details
- Hours: 2 hours per day ( 3 hours x2 days per week to support with showering)
- Location: Malmesbury
- Type: Private carer, in-home support
- Self employed role
- Availability - the role is 7 days a week, to be shared with a team of relief carers. Ideally you will have availability up to 3 days per week including some weekend availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Taking instructions from the live-in carer as to the requirements on the day
- Personal Care Assisting with washing, dressing, and general hygiene to ensure a comfortable and dignified start to the day.
- Meal Preparation
- Household Support: Light domestic tasks such as tidying, laundry, and maintaining a clean and comfortable living space.
- Companionship: Offering a friendly and reassuring presence at all times
What We’re Looking For:
- A caring, patient, and compassionate individual with a genuine passion for supporting others.
- Previous experience in elderly care or a similar role
- A reliable and responsible approach to work.
- Strong communication skills and a warm, friendly personality.
- Care training certificates and an enhanced DBS in place

Pay: From £16.60 per hour
