We are seeking a Trainee Vehicle Technician to join our MG Dealership in Baldock - SG7 to provide assistance to our vehicle servicing operation. Working alongside a qualified Technician, this role will see you gradually learn the required skills to service, repair and maintain vehicles, if you are not already enrolled in college we will help you find the right course to enable you to work towards a certified qualification.
Responsibilities
Provide assistance to a qualified Technician through vehicle servicing works
Participate in on the job training to pick up the required skills to independently complete vehicle servicing, repair and maintenance activities. Work as part of a team, providing assistance as and when required to a team of qualified Technicians. Ensure all workshop activities are completed in a safe and high quality manner, in line with both internal and manufacturer requirements
Participate in ongoing training and development with the manufacturer in line with the training courses required.
Entry Requirements
It is essential that you have gained Grade C/ Level 4 in GCSE Maths, English and Science. As an entry level role, we don’t require previous experience, but look for people who can demonstrate:
Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to work well with others
