Highways Project Manager (Major Works)

The role of Project Manager will require you to plan, program, progress, manage and deliver large scale highways and infrastructure projects to ensure key targets are achieved to program and delivery dates, on budget and to design.
Roles and responsibilities would include but not be limited to:
- Liaising with the client, attending meetings, managing expectations and working collaboratively to deliver the project.
- Having main responsibility for delivering complex capital projects from ECI stage to completion and handover
- Planning and maximising the efficient use of resources including direct labour, subcontractors, specialist subcontractors, plant, and all other resources
- Engagement with and management of all stakeholders
- Maximising profitability and client satisfaction
Key skills:
- Previous experience in a similar role overseeing major highways projects including all elements of civil engineering, highways and infrastructure.
- Proven experience in project management delivering similar large scale highways : infrastructure projects
- Very good knowledge of procurement processes and contractual arrangements
- Very good understanding of highway works specifications, sustainability requirements, and quality assurance processes.
- Familiarity with transportation infrastructure and maintenance practices.
- Relevant professional certifications or qualifications
