Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service at all times
- Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate patient flow efficiently
- Answer incoming phone calls promptly, directing inquiries or scheduling requests appropriately
- Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining patient records with accuracy
- Assist with verifying patient information and updating medical records as needed
- Support the clinic’s daily operations by managing correspondence and handling administrative inquiries
- Maintain a clean and organised reception area to ensure a professional environment
Skills
- Previous office experience demonstrating strong organisational abilities
- Administrative experience in a healthcare or similar setting is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and approachable manner
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Proficiency in using technology
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact confidently with patients, staff, and visitors
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle sensitive information discreetly
This role is perfect for motivated individuals to join an experienced team.
There are two roles available, one for 20 hours per week working mornings Tuesday - Friday 8.00am - 1.00 pm. The second for 22 hours per week working 12.00pm - 5.00pm on Monday and 1.00pm - 6.30pm Tuesday - Friday. There will be the opportunity for occasional overtime.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
