Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled CCTV Engineer to join our dynamic security and systems team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems across various facilities. Your expertise will ensure the seamless operation of surveillance infrastructure, contributing to the safety, security, and operational efficiency of our organization. Responsibilities
- Install and configure CCTV systems, including cameras, recording devices, and related hardware components.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on CCTV equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to system hardware, software, networking, and electrical components.
- Interpret schematics, system design diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose problems and implement solutions.
- Integrate CCTV systems with other security infrastructure such as IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems) and telecommunication networks.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and construction experience to mount cameras securely in various environments.
- Collaborate with electrical and telecommunication teams during system installation or upgrades to ensure compliance with safety standards and schematics.
Experience
- Proven experience working with CCTV surveillance systems in a technical or engineering capacity.
- Strong knowledge of computer networking principles relevant to security systems integration.
- Mechanical knowledge related to hardware installation and maintenance in diverse environments.
- Familiarity with computer hardware components used in surveillance equipment.
- Electrical experience including wiring, circuit troubleshooting, and power management for security systems.
- Experience reading schematics, system design documents, and technical manuals for complex security setups.
- Construction experience is advantageous for installation projects requiring physical setup in various settings.
