We are looking for a passionate and personable manager who shares the same love of food and drink that we do!
You will be leading a team at the soon to be reopened Unicorn Pub in Cublington, an exciting new pub opening from the team behind the Five Elms pub in Weedon.
We are looking for someone that can provide an energetic and motivated approach to oversee daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and cultivate a lively, welcoming atmosphere. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of the pub’s success—managing staff, maintaining high standards of service, and ensuring smooth food and beverage operations. Duties
- Lead and supervise all pub operations, bartending, restaurant activities
- Manage staff schedules, delegate tasks, and foster a positive team environment focused on excellent hospitality
- Oversee food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations across all food production areas
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and maintain high culinary standards
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure guests enjoy a memorable experience
- Maintain inventory levels for bar supplies, ingredients, and food items; place orders as needed
- Monitor cleanliness and organization of the pub environment to uphold safety standards and aesthetic appeal
Skills
- Proven supervising experience in hospitality or restaurant settings with team management responsibilities
- Extensive knowledge of food and drink (especially wine) desired, further training can be provided
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams effectively
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with customers and coordinating staff
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
