North Wales Tourism is the region's membership organisation supporting one of Wales' most important industries.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, commercially-minded professional who enjoys building relationships, creating opportunities and helping businesses succeed.
Working with tourism businesses across North Wales, you'll play a leading role in growing membership, developing commercial partnerships and increasing revenue to support the long-term sustainability of the organisation.
This is a straightforward sales role and would suit someone who enjoys speaking to people, building relationships and working towards achievable sales targets.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with prospective and existing members, providing a friendly, professional and responsive service that supports retention, engagement and long-term relationships.
- Drive commercial income growth by helping to develop and deliver initiatives that increase membership, advertising, promotional and other commercial revenues, contributing to the long-term financial sustainability of North Wales Tourism.
- Increase participation and commercial engagement by encouraging businesses to take advantage of campaigns, events, marketing opportunities and other relevant products and services.
- Maintain accurate sales and customer records, ensuring enquiries, leads, contacts, opportunities and sales activity are recorded and followed up effectively.
- Achieve agreed sales targets and contribute to wider organisational objectives, working collaboratively with colleagues across membership, marketing and other areas to maximise business opportunities and support the growth of North Wales Tourism.
- Actively support and promote the Go North Wales / North Wales Tourism brand.
- Undertake additional duties as required, demonstrating flexibility to meet the needs of the organisation.
