To provide an efficient, accurate, and safe warehousing and delivery service. You will ensure that stock incoming from suppliers is correctly stored, customer orders are picked accurately, and deliveries are made to local electricians, contractors, and commercial sites safely and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Driving & Deliveries
- Customer Service: Act as the "face of the business" at the point of delivery, maintaining a polite, professional, and helpful attitude.
- Route Planning: Plan efficient delivery routes to ensure timely drops.
- Loading: Safely load the delivery van, ensuring heavy items are secured properly and the load is balanced.
- Deliveries & Collections: Deliver goods to various locations and handle customer returns/faulty items.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-checks on the company vehicle (oil, water, tires, lights) and keep the van clean and tidy.
2. Warehouse Operations
- Goods Inward: Unload supplier deliveries, check quantities against delivery notes, and inspect goods for damage.
- Goods Outward (Picking/Packing): Accurately pick customer orders from picking lists. Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Stock Management: Put stock away in the correct locations and assist with regular stock takes and inventory counts.
- Cable Cutting: Measure and cut specific lengths of various cables as requested by customers.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
Pay: £26,436.80-£28,080.00 per year

Experience:
