Acumen Automotive Logistics Ltd is expanding operations at our Bristol (Avonmouth) site and we're recruiting directly from the Stoke area.
No need to relocate — we get you there and back every week.

Roles available
Compound Operatives - £13.50 ph
You'll be responsible for the safe movement, marshalling, and organisation of vehicles within our busy compound — driving vehicles between bays, loading/unloading transporters, keeping accurate location records, and ensuring stock is easy to locate and dispatch on time. Good attention to detail and a methodical approach are key, as is a full driving licence (manual preferred) since you'll be moving a wide variety of vehicles throughout the day.
Valeters £13.50 ph
You'll prepare vehicles to a showroom standard ahead of dispatch or customer handover — washing, polishing, interior cleaning, and finishing touches so every vehicle leaves site looking its best. We're looking for people with a real eye for detail and pride in their work. Valeting experience is helpful but not essential; full training is given, and there's genuine scope to progress into more technical roles (such as ceramic coating or paint inspection) for the right candidates.
Automotive Technicians (PDI) £16 (Level 2)
You'll carry out Pre-Delivery Inspections on new vehicles before they're released to dealers or customers — checking mechanical, electrical, and cosmetic condition against manufacturer standards, road-testing where required, and completing accurate inspection paperwork/digital reports. This role suits candidates with a mechanical or technical automotive background (e.g. time served technician, vehicle inspector, or similar), and manufacturer-specific PDI training will be provided.
What we're looking for
- Reliable, hardworking individuals who take pride in their work
- A full UK driving licence
- Previous automotive, logistics, or valeting experience is a bonus but not required for Compound/Valeting roles — we'll train the right people
- Technical/mechanical background required for PDI Technician roles
- Willingness to travel weekly and stay onsite Mon–Fri
How it works
We collect from Stoke every Monday morning, you stay in onsite accommodation during the week at our Bristol site, then travel home Friday for the weekend.
