Key Responsibilities
As General Manager, you will be accountable for all aspects of the hotel's operation, including:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy to maximize profitability, market share, and guest satisfaction.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee all departments (Rooms, Food & Beverage, Sales, Maintenance) to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality service and product standards.
- Financial Management: Manage the hotel budget, P&L, and forecasting, implementing effective cost-control and revenue-generating initiatives.
- Team Development: Recruit, train, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a positive, collaborative, and guest-focused work culture.
- Guest Experience: Champion the delivery of outstanding and personalized guest service, managing guest feedback and resolving issues to ensure high review scores and repeat business.
- Sales & Marketing: Work with the sales team to drive commercial performance, develop local partnerships, and enhance the hotel’s brand presence in the market.
- Compliance & Maintenance: Ensure the hotel is compliant with all health, safety, and licensing regulations, and oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the property.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a General Manager or a senior operational role within a full-service hotel environment.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and a demonstrable track record of improving financial performance.
- A genuine passion for the hospitality industry and commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- A solid understanding of hotel systems, revenue management, and sales strategies.
- Must be willing to be visible and an active presence within the hotel and the local Piercebridge community.

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
