Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties
- Lead daily activities and educational sessions tailored to children's developmental stages, ensuring engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences
- Supervise and mentor junior nursery staff, providing guidance and support to uphold best practices in childcare and early childhood education
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment that promotes children's well-being and development
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns
- Support the implementation of curriculum plans aligned with early childhood standards and individual needs
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and safeguarding policies at all times
- Manage administrative tasks such as record-keeping, attendance tracking, and reporting on children's development milestones
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood setting, with at least Level 3 childcare qualification or equivalent
- Demonstrated management and leadership skills within a childcare environment
- Strong communication skills in English to interact confidently with children, parents, and team members
- Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Valid driving license is preferred to facilitate transportation needs if required by the nursery
- Commitment to safeguarding children and maintaining confidentiality at all times
