Male Support Worker / Care Worker

About the Role
We are currently looking for a Male Support Worker/Care Worker to join our team, providing high-quality, person-centred care to clients in the Balham, Croydon, and Wandsworth areas.
This is a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010, as the successful applicant will be providing personal care and support to a male service user.
Responsibilities
* Provide personal care and support with daily living activities.
* Assist with medication (where trained).
* Prepare meals and support with nutrition.
* Accompany clients to appointments and community activities.
* Maintain accurate care records.
* Promote independence, dignity, and respect.
* Follow safeguarding procedures and company policies.
Requirements
* Male applicants only (Genuine Occupational Requirement under the Equality Act 2010).
* Previous care experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
* Compassionate, reliable, and professional.
* Good communication skills.
* Right to work in the UK.
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
* Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
