A superb opportunity for the right candidate to join and lead the team at Manchester Dental.
This is ideally a full-time position but a part time role may be considered for the right candidate.
We are a busy fully private practice established for over 19 years.
The practice is based in Urmston, just a few minutes from the Trafford Centre. Just off junction 9 of the M60, Chorlton and Didsbury are close by.
The surgeries are fully computerised running Exact - Software of Excellence, digital x-rays, a CT scanner and an Itero Scanner too.
We have a multidisciplinary team of 7 dentists with each clinician having their own niche of dental implants, fixed orthodontics, Invisalign, endodontics and composite bonding. We also have 3 dental therapists providing hygiene and therapy treatments.
Treatment coordination skills will be useful.
Previous reception experience is preferred but not essential for the right candidate.

Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures to create a positive first impression.
- Manage appointment scheduling efficiently, including rescheduling and confirming upcoming visits.
- Handle patient inquiries via phone, email, or in person with professionalism and clarity.
- Maintain accurate patient records, update information, and ensure confidentiality in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Coordinate with dental staff to facilitate smooth daily operations and patient flow.
- Process payments, insurance claims, and billing transactions accurately and promptly.
- Keep the reception area organized, clean, and welcoming at all times to promote a professional environment.
- Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management of office supplies.
Skills
- Proven experience working in an office environment with strong administrative skills.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or dental setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and team members.
- Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
- A friendly attitude combined with professionalism that enhances patient satisfaction.
