We are looking for a reliable, hard-working, and hands-on Pallet Repairer to join our busy, family-run pallet yard in Liverpool. You will play a crucial role in our sustainability efforts by inspecting, repairing, and refurbishing damaged wooden pallets so they meet high quality standards for reuse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pallet Repair: Safely use hand tools and pneumatic nail guns to repair damaged wooden pallets.
- Quality Inspection: Assess pallets for defects, remove broken boards/timber, and replace them.
- Sorting & Stacking: Sort used pallets by size, type, and condition, and stack them in designated yard areas.
- Target Driven: Work efficiently to meet daily production targets while maintaining a safe working environment.
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience: Previous experience using hand/power tools or repairing pallets is highly preferred.
- Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit and capable of heavy lifting and moving wooden pallets all day.
- Work Ethic: Reliable, honest, and a strong team player with a good attitude toward health and safety
