Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, hardworking and efficient person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting with food preparation, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety. This role offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Previous restaurant/ kitchen experience is essential. The successful applicant will be passionate about delivering quality service and ensuring customers enjoy their visit.
Duties
- Serve customers at the counter, taking orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions and operate the till with basic maths skills
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dining area, and food preparation surfaces in line with food safety regulations
- Upsell additional menu items to maximise sales opportunities
- Assist in stock replenishment and inventory management
- Ensure all food safety procedures are followed diligently
- Provide friendly and professional customer service at all times
- Assist with general shop duties including cleaning, organising, and restocking supplies
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service is essential
