Responsibilities
- Operate telescopic forklifts safely and efficiently to transport materials across the warehouse or construction site
- Load and unload goods from trucks, containers, or storage areas with precision
- Conduct routine inspections of the forklift to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues promptly
- Assist with inventory management by organizing stock in designated areas using the forklift’s extendable arm
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate material movement and meet project deadlines
- Maintain accurate records of materials moved, including quantities and locations
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment
Requirements
- Valid certification for operating telescopic forklifts or similar equipment
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a focus on forklift operation
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance checks and troubleshoot minor issues
- Familiarity with operating excavators or similar heavy machinery is a plus
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments, standing or walking for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team

Pay: £20.00-£21.00 per hour
